Jail Visitor - Rules and Regulations

VISITORS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH.
Harrison County Jail retains the right to deny a visit when
there is reason to believe that the visitor will endanger jail security or
control of jail. |

Visiting Hours:
|
Male inmates
Tuesdays or Thursdays
1pm to 4pm |
Female inmates:
Wednesdays
1pm to 4pm |

A male inmate is allowed a visit of one
(1), thirty (30) minute session by you
on a Tuesday only --OR-- Thursday only (per individual inmate per week).

- Only reading material, clothing and
money may be brought to prisoners. Everything brought for prisoners is
subject to inspection. Visitors are not allowed to give anything
directly to prisoners.

- Individuals under the age of eighteen
(18) must be accompanied by a parent of the individual or an adult. If
not accompanied by a parent (but with an adult), written permission for
the visit, from the parent, must be provided before a visit to an inmate
will be allowed. An adult must accompany any child (12 years of age or
younger) during the visit.

- Attorneys and ministers will be allowed
unlimited access provided the visit is at a reasonable hour.
|
- Once visitors leave the jail after
visitation, they will not be allowed to return to visit.
|
- All visitors will sign the prisoner
visitation sheet and complete all information on the sheet
|

Dress Code
All dress must be conservative in nature.
NO
see through clothing (lace, sheer, etc.), NO
low cut shirts.
The Harrison County Jail utilizes a video
visitation system for regular visits.
